I purchased my first Dane in 2001.  His name was Bouncer, an AKC registered,  show quality Mantle male with Champion bloodlines, standing at 35" and weighing 145lbs.  He eventually became my Stud dog in 2005 and sired litters up to 15 puppies!!

My female, Brea,  a Harlequin standing at 33" and 130 lbs, was the mother to all of Bouncer's litters.  We still have her, as she is our oldest "baby."  She is now retired from having puppies however she is a part of our family.

Throughout the years we have had several Danes with us.  Duece was a puppy we kept out of their first litter.  He weighed 185 lbs and was 38" tall when he passed away of bloat.  His loss devestated our family.  We also had a female in which we rescued from a puppy mill.  After finding out she had ovarian cysts, she was spayed and died the next day of a blood clot.  You are probably thinking, why do we continue to have Great Danes?  Well if you have ever been around a Dane, then you understand.  They are loyal and lovable dogs, who don't realize when they are trying to curl up on your lap, that they are HUGE!!!

We purchased an AKC Registered show quality female Harl (pic on homepage) in 2007.  Dayes is her name.  She's 34" and 115lbs at 2 years old.   Daeys is a very loyal and protective girl.  She loves our children as her own and she even sleeps in their room!  She had one litter of 10, with 8 surviving.  6 show quality harls and 2 mantle merles.  In Feb. 2010 she was diagnosed with lymphosarcoma and died in April 2010.  She is extreely missed.

In March 2010 we purchased a show quality mantle female...Kopper is her name.  She is growing nicely and very sweet!!!  She's my newst baby!  (4-legged that is!)

In July 2010, we re-acquired a puppy out of Daeys's litter.  She is 10 months old and we plan to keep her with us from now on.  She looks and acts just like her Momma did.
